How to tie a hair rig (knotless knot)

Another written tutorial to accompany a youtube video. This time its the hair rig (or knotless knot as it is commonly known). It is called the knotless knot because there is not actually any knot being tied. There are two images with this post to show basics.

Begin by threading some line through the eye of he hook (it will have to be thin hooklink line as it must thread back through the eye again). Next, wrap the line around around the hook, leaving a loop at the shank. The shaded area on the image would be wrapped around the hook.

Wrap this section of the line around the hook a few times then thread it back up through the eye of the hook. Pull this end and you should have a perfect knotless knot.

The video of this knot can be found here. Next video and tutorial will be what you can do with this hair rig.
